Carfi provide an EAP that’s developed by a team of qualified professionals experienced in providing personal and work related assistance. We use counselling and coaching techniques that are confidential, short-term and solutions focused.

The referral can be made either as a self-referral by the employee, or a referral by a supportive team leader or manager.

Access to the EAP 

EAP services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week via face-to-face meetings or telephone within minutes in emergencies. The EAP is tailored to the organisation’s requirements – onsite at your premises or offsite through our network of serviced offices Melbourne, Sydney and Canberra.

As part of the EAP, the Manager Assistance Program is a coaching service that gives supervisors and managers the opportunity to discuss work related challenges and concerns in a confidential setting. This could include topics such as staff behavioural issues or team difficulties. It’s designed to complement internal HR support and provides an additional resource for HR to use when coaching and developing managers.

Designed to respond to the needs of staff and managers seeking to enhance their career mobility and opportunities. This service can be offered as part of internal career development or in response to career transition issues.

The Career Assistance Program is available to provide the necessary support to employees in the following areas:

  • Explore options for their next career move or future career planning
  • Assess their transferable skills, abilities and interests and identify their strengths
  • Seek to identify other suitable employment options and job opportunities
  • Explore options for professional development to inject further stimulation in their current position or for the prospect of promotion with their current employer
  • Identify areas of professional development to assist them to meet the challenges and demands of their current position
  • Access to confidential outplacement support at the prospect of redundancy or redeployment.
