Carfi recently ran a workshop in Melbourne, Sydney and Canberra on how to have “Effective Conversations in the Workplace”. The workshop primarily focused on:
- Learning to recognise early warning signs of dysfunctional communication and avoidance.
- Learning a practical framework to maximise engagement with stakeholders.
- Develop and enhance key interpersonal skills to promote effective communication.
- Building a capacity and confidence to defuse and manage challenging reactions to behaviours.
Interpersonal conflict and/or stakeholder alienation and disengagement is a common theme of most complex cases. To address this, talking early and talking often is an essential aspect of Carfi's Early Intervention rehabilitation service model, designed to resolve interpersonal conflicts in the workplace and breaking the cycle of alienation and disengagement.
