Manager Assistance Program

As part of the EAP, the Manager Assistance Program is a coaching service that gives supervisors and managers the opportunity to discuss work related challenges and concerns in a confidential setting. This could include topics such as staff behavioural issues or team difficulties. It’s designed to complement internal HR support and provides an additional resource for HR to use when coaching and developing managers.

Topics within the program include:

  • Effective communication
  • Effective leadership styles
  • Interpersonal and team conflict resolution
  • Management of challenging staff behaviour
  • Team building and people management coaching
  • Balancing operational and strategic demands of the role
  • Management of change and transition
